We know from years of experience. We appreciate, among Canada’s many gifts, the farmers who grow organic oats for Clif Bar & Company, the bakers who make the company’s bars, and the growing number of customers who enjoy Clif foods. So it only seems right for us to support Canadian nonprofits that prioritize what we, also, care about: food and the environment.

Supporting Pioneering Nonprofits

Nonprofits may not self-nominate or solicit our interest in consideration of these grants. The Foundation initiates all invitations.

Clif Family Foundation supports two priority areas:

  • Strengthening food systems
  • Safeguarding our environment and natural resources
Our Canadian grants are designed to enhance food security; advance a more just food system; promote ecological agriculture as an answer to climate change; and safeguard wild salmon, freshwater supplies, and marine habitat.
