Upcoming Deadline
The next Operational/Open Call Grants deadline is August 1, 2024 at 11:59 PM, PST. These grants are awarded for general organizational support as well as funding for specific projects. **Starting in January 2024, applications are now reviewed two times a year; the deadlines are the 1st of March and August. Applicants will be notified of decisions by June 15 and November 15, respectively.

Clif Bar & Company was acquired by Mondelez International in 2022. We wish everyone at Clif's headquarters and bakeries continued success as they work to grow a purpose-led business and share the benefits of a Five Aspiration business model with a larger, global audience. Clif Family Foundation is now a completely independent organization; we will carry on with our grantmaking under the direction of our Board, and continue to seek out inspiring nonprofits whose work we're honored to fund.
New Grantmaking Software
If you have not applied in a while, we've launched a new grantmaking platform with Submittable. Going forward, you will need to set up a Submittable account to apply for our grants. As usual, you can access this new portal from our website using the "apply for a grant" links.
We chose Submittable for its many efficiencies and improvements that will help streamline the grants process, including the ability for you to invite your team to collaborate on your application in real time and view status updates.
Please note that our CyberGrants portal is now closed, and no more applications or impact reports will be accepted there.
